Dispute resolution and advice within property and property development, contract law, construction law and public law

Belinda works primarily with issues concerning property law, general contract law, administrative law, dispute resolution and procedure and has in debt knowledge of data centre contracts. Ingebrigtsen also works within the area of inheritance and family law, especially with questions arising out of generational changes.

Belinda started her career in 2002 as an assistant professor at the University of Bergen, Faculty of Law. During her time as an assistant professor she taught, for example, the subjects of contract law, health and social law, administrative law, public procurement, international law and human rights. After her time at the university, Belinda became deputy judge and acting judge at Stavanger District Court, and she acquired broad experience in several fields. In addition to her work at the Stavanger District Court, Belinda continued as an external examiner and lecturer, side jobs that Belinda still occupies at the University of Bergen and University of Stavanger. Lately she has held lectures in the subjects of contract law, monetary claim law and ethics. Belinda has received very good feedback on her lectures. Belinda also undertakes annual external examiner assignments and supervisor assignments for law students in their master's theses. 

In recent years, Belinda has acquired experience from several assignments as a board member, and she is currently Chairman of the Board of Peder Smedvig’s Scholarship and Fru Magnhild og Olaf Andresens legacy.

During her time as a lawyer, Belinda has gained qualified and varied litigation experience before both the District Court and Court of Appeal.

Belinda has further, in her time as a lawyer, assisted clients with land acquisitions, handling of public authorities, development and sale of commercial and residential property projects, the entering into larger and smaller lease contracts, as well as general advice services and contract execution. Belinda also regularly assists major developers in connection with complaints from buyers.

Belinda has in the last ten years handled several major contract negotiations, including negotiations with major international actors, as well as participated in work on various transactions.  She also has experience within construction law and has prepared several building and construction agreements, and also followed up on several construction projects, as well as assisted with disputes within the area of construction law. 

Belinda regularly assists various companies in connection with their daily operations, including issues related to customer relationships, entering into loan agreements, buying and selling properties, as well as companies etc.
