Maren works in the department of Property and Construction. She works in particular with litigation, dispute resolution and advisory services in the area of private property, contract law and construction law. Maren's other areas of expertise include labour law and maritime law.
During her studies Maren was employed by the University of Bergen to tutor younger students in legal courses. She also specialized in international maritime law, and her master thesis was titled "Binding third parties to incorporated clauses regarding jurisdiction and arbitration in the bill of lading – A comparative exposition of the juridical status according to the Norwegian Maritime Act and the Lugano Convention".
Maren has been admitted to the program "Board candidates", which is initiated by Stavanger Chamber of Commerce U37. The program focuses on board membership for younger candidates, and will include courses within areas of economics, law, strategy and digitalization.
